So here’s the skinny: I want to write love letters to my spouse. Let’s face it, marriage is hard, and a good marriage, harder still. Some may lay claim to that… “perfect” marriage and that’s great for them. The truth is though, for most of us, anyways, is that marriage is hard.
I say, leading to the purpose of this page and what I hope to be many posts, thereafter, is to love my wife. I’m not always expressive in the best of ways when trying to show love to her, but I heard something that really struck a chord with me. They reminded me when we said our vows; our promises to one another, while “tying the knot”, was one of those really important words. Not necessarily more important than the others, but one that gets overlooked: the word cherish.
The purpose of this blog is to cherish my wife. I’m not the best with words if they have to make it passed thoughts and into audible words, but I do very much cherish my wife, and I want let the whole world just how much.
