The First Kiss

Wife,

I’ve been sitting here thinking about you—about us—and I just had to put into words what my heart has been carrying.

Do you remember that first night we met in person? After all those months of messages, calls, late-night conversations, and dreaming of the moment we’d finally be face-to-face… it finally happened. It was dark outside by the time you arrived, but when I saw you step into the light, it was like the night surrendered. You were everything I had imagined—and more. I remember feeling like the world paused for a moment, just for us.

And then, that first kiss. I don’t think I even breathed. Because the second our lips touched, something inside me shifted. It was like my soul whispered, There you are. I’ve been waiting. In that moment, I knew. I knew you were the one I wanted to share my life with, the one I wanted to protect, laugh with, grow old beside, and love endlessly.

That night wasn’t just the beginning of our relationship—it was the beginning of the rest of my life. You brought light into places in me I didn’t know were dim. You brought warmth, faith, joy, and a sense of belonging that I never knew was possible.

I cherish everything about you—your strength, your laughter, your quirks, your heart. I remember the way your eyes looked at me that first night—like they already knew the story we were about to write together. And now here we are, still writing it, still choosing each other, still holding on.

Thank you for loving me. Thank you for believing in us. I will never take that for granted. You are my answered prayer, my partner, my best friend, and my home.

I love you—with all that I am.

Forever yours,
Husband
